About the area

Nordegg is located on the Eastern slopes of Alberta's majestic Rocky Mountains. It is approximately 200km West of Red Deer and 100km East of Saskatchewan River Crossing near the Columbia Ice Fields and the British Columba border. Far away from any hussle and bussle of the big city and nestled in the peace and quiet of nature.

If you are looking for the perfect place to unwind, then you have found it. Immerse yourself in mountains, big open skies, and abundant nature. Step out your front door and be on a trail within minutes without needing to drive anywhere! There are numerous fishing locations around the area and guided fishing adventures are available.

Activities

Nordegg is just a stone's throw away from glacier lakes, helicopter rides, horseback trail riding, climbing areas, rivers, waterfalls, freshwater lakes and lots of fishing areas. It is less than an hour to Jasper National Park and the Icefields Parkway. You could hike the historic Howes Pass or enjoy ice cream at Saskatchewan River Crossing. Spend a day at the historic Nordegg Golf Course where you can golf all day for one price. There are no street lights out here so the stars at night are simply amazing.
